Wano Kuni: An Isolated Country

The country experiences force labor regarding weaponry making specifically, swords. The production was controlled by the yonkou "kaidou". Why Wano? Because it is isolated. Shipments were sent to Dressrosa to be advertised in the underworld by Doffy. And since it is force labor, the wano people weren't compensated well and haven't eaten anything which made them weak. Due to slow production, Kaidou provides them "enhancement food" like Hody's to increase the number of production but with weird effects, let's say forgetting? or making them insane?.

Kinemon, Kanjuro and Momo haven't eaten anything due to the effects of the "enhancement food" and sneaked out in Dressrosa while delivering weapons.

That's when they were separated with each other.

One Piece Chapter 730: Spoiler

 Cover-story: Grandma recalls her memory where Caribou was standing in front of her protecting her while facing Drake.
- Zoro and Kinemon step up and are about to save Law, but they're stopped by Fujitora, Zoro and Fujitora have a short fight, Zoro's glasses are broken.
- Law has been taken away by Doflamingo.
- In the meantime, Sanji is encountering Big Mom Pirates.
- Big Mom Pirates' target is also Caesar.
- The Straw Hat crew suddenly is 'besieged on all sides'.

730 - Spoilers

- Zoro and Kinemon tries to save Law but Fujitora stops Zoro and Doflamingo attacks Kinemon.
- Luffy tries to help them but the railing are made of Kairoseki.
- Doflamingo takes Law to the Palace with Fujitora. The Marines start chasing Zoro, Kinemon and Luffy.
- "We must hurry. I can still hear Law's voice." Luffy says.
- At this moment Big Mom ship appears in back of Thousand Sunny for seizing Caesar.
- Nami analyzes that there are three cards: Caesar, SMILE factory and Momonosuke. Doflamingo has his unspoiled factory and Law. Now Big Mom wants Caesar. They have to protect Caesar and Momonosuke for Law and go to Zou. Franky, Usopp and Robin destroys factory. Luffy, Zoro and Kinemon goes to the Palace for rescuing Law and kicking Doflamingo's ass.

Chapter 729: Shichibukai Doflamingo vs Shichibukai Law

Bellamy is about to approach Luffy, thinking to himself sorry about this Straw Hat, but by killing you I'll be a Donquixote Family officer.

Dillinger finds Bellamy. He talks like a little girl and wears high-heels.
He's here on order by Doflamingo, who sent Dillinger to take care of Bellamy as he has no confidence in him accomplishing the job, and feels he's nothing but a bother.

Meanwhile in Dressrosa bridge, Doflamingo's string slash clashes with Law's sword.
Law shoots "Scapel" attack, which nick's Doflamingo's face and bleeds him, but Dofla dodged the blunt of the attack, kicks Law hard, then shoots him back with "Bullet String (Tamaito)". The fight seems to be going in favor of Dofla.

Just then a call from Diamante reporting that Violet has betrayed them.
Doflamingo tells him to not mind her, just place Lao-G and others to guard the factory entrance
Diamante tells his boss the 4 are supposed to enter the ring and entertain the crowd, but Dofla orders him to take care of it himself.
"You're a genius, right? OF COURSE I AM!"

Dofla tells Law: So... you're the bait, and the Straw Hats destroys the factory while I'm distracted.
Even if you die, Kaidou will come after me. That is your plan, correct?
He asks Law why he trusts the Straw Hats so much.
Law smiles and tells him a quote.... 'D will bring forth the storm again.'

Luffy: What do you need Zoro?
Zoro: Why didn't you invite me to this tornament!?

Luffy tells him sorry about that, and a marine spots Zoro
He reports to Bastille, and they figure out Lucy is Luffy.
The marine reads the report of powerful contestants, but only recognizes Don Chinjao.
He doesn't understand why all these "unknown names" are written on the report, as the memories of the men who turned to toys are lost.
Luffy learns from Zoro/Kin that marines are surrounding the coliseum.

On Sunny
Sanji connects den den mushi with Kin and Usopp, thereby connecting all the Straw Hats in a conference. (Like a group chat)
They exchange information they have, about the revolt, Tontattas, the toy soldier, Rebecca, coliseum, etc
Franky says he realizes the plan is to let Doflamingo live the day and make use of him (Kaidou related)
but Franky feels for all the Tontattas and toys who rose up to stand against Doflamingo, and he wants to help them.
I can't turn the other way while they're destroyed! Luffy and Sanji both have a serious face listening to Franky's plea.

Sanji decides: Alright men... let's head back
Luffy orders Franky he may do as he want, and fight. We'll join you up soon!

Meanwhile, Isshou heads back to Dressrosa as there's a massive battle going on.
Buildings are getting sliced left and right as Law and Dofla clash through the city.
The fight takes the two all the way to entrance of the coliseum.
Law is on the ground, on his last breath as Doflamingo, pissed and no longer laughing, looms over him.
Dofla pulls out a pistol and shoots Law three times, as Law passes out.

Sai notices Ideo, Kelly, and Boo falling to their pit.
Tank Repanto approach Ricky, and tells him I've had this feeling all along...are you not.. my majesty, King Riku?
Ricky takes his helm off. He looks like Heihachi from tekken but with a cupid mayo baby hair on the forhead.
Riku Doldo the third, former king of Dressrosa

Tank bursts in tears, rejoicing to see his king alive.
Tank's disloyalty to Doflamingo was because he was royal to the Riku royalty.
Riku guessed Tank was looking after Viola's safety all along, and that he would never question his loyalty.

King Elizabello comes over and hugs Riku, glad to see his old friend alive.
Riku helped out his nation many times, and Elizabello is tired of all the warfare in the neighboring nations after Riku's disappearance.
Sai says there is someone benefiting greatly from all the war in the region.
Doflamingo is making a fortune off by manipulating the war from behind,and selling weapons to all sides.
Even their home nation of Ka no Kuni is caught in the wars.

Sai and his group were sent by the king of Ka, to investigate and destroy the weapon smugglers.
He blames Riku for losing his head and allowing Doflamingo to become a king for all the wars in the region.
To this Dagama agrees, telling his king that even though Riku was a friend in the past, they should alienate from him.
Enraged, Tank tells Riku he doesn't know the truth that transpired ten years ago.

Riku stops Tank, but Tank tells him he's a soldier loyal to your majesty.
Many gladiators stands up and announce that they are soldiers of Riku as well.
Some of the toys stands up with them.
Many soldiers and toys kneel before their king.

Hack, hidden from others, communicates with someone on a small Den Den mushi.
He reports that with such a huge pit underground, there may be more hidden secrets here.
The person on the other side of the communication acknowledges, and tells him to continue his recon.

Just then, a blob of slime stretches down, and snags Sai away.
Shortly later, Sai is turned into a monkey toy.
Trebol gives him orders.. "Do not harm humans" "Obay the Family", now head to the factory.
Sai is conscious, but cannot not disobey the orders, and his body moves on its own...

Meanwhile in Colosseum
Luffy is cheering on Rebecca, and tells the TV to show her more instead of Cabbage.
He heads to a better spot to see the fights, but before that he chats with the gladiators there.
He tells him how he though this country was fun and happy, but seeing them, that doesn't seem like the whole truth.
The gladiators tell him how this nation exist both light and dark, and the losers are thrown in the darkness.
If you take out the trash (losers) of course the country will look clean and bright.
Luffy tells him it reminds him of the country he grew up in.

As Luffy leaves, Barto finds him. *bursts into tears of joy*

At the flower garden:
The elder explains their history. The Tontatta faced extinction every time they encountered humans in the past.
But the king of Dressrosa at the time, Doflamingo, offered them resource and safety in return for small amount of labor.
But in truth, it was a slave system. Enslaved, the Tontattas were locked underground and abused.
Due to their slave work, the people of Dressrosa flourished in wealth.

But after the "Void Century" all changed. A new king appeared in Dressrosa. King Riku.
Riku found out about the Tontattas, cried, and apologized to them for all the cruelty.
He promised them that they can take any resource they need for survival from his country, he'll simply chalk it up to "fairies did it".
Thus the fairy legend was created in Dressrosa.

Riku royalty were generous rulers. They were never very wealthy, but always helped others in needs, including neighboring nations.
But the the 800 years of ties with Riku and the Tontattas were broken 10 years ago when Donquioxte, the descendant of the Doflamingos took the throne. He plans to reenact the terrible history of the past. He's already claimed 500 Tontattas, including the elder's daughter princess Manshelly.

Hearing their tale, Usopp riles up for a battle, while Franky sheds tears for them.
Robin asks why the girl on the screen is being jeered on by the crowd for being the granddaughter of Riku then?
The toy soldier explains that the King lost the favor of his people 10 years ago, but they don't know the truth of what transpired.
The king was trying to protect his own country the whole time. Doflamingo tried to rid all the Rikus at the time, but he took Rebecca and fled. But at last they've been caught and now she's an exhibition at the Colosseum...!
He couldn't protect her mother, but he'll protect Rebecca and King Riku's trust with all his life.
Usopp asks him exactly who are you?

The soldier replies that although she wouldn't remember him after he's been turned into a toy, he is the true father of Rebecca.

Law uses Shambles and release Jora far away. He warns her to get as far away as possible.
Dofla tells Law that his vengeance for him is unfounded, but Law replies to him that this isn't vengeance... he's doing it for "that person" (yes, I know. AGAIN) that's what he's been living for all this time.
The fight begins within his massive ROOM,and the bridge is shredded to pieces.

Meanwhile on Sunny
Nami is prepared to scatter the clouds with winds if Dofla comes for them.
The crew are worried about Law, but Sanji says Law's plan is to leave Dofla alive so he will clash with Kaidou.
If Law sticks to running away, he should be fine.

Momo is frightened of Doflamingo. When he and his dad were here before,they witnessed Dofla torturing a gladiator.

flashback
Dofla told the man even the most decent people has savagery in them that excites at seeing blood and death. That is entertainment.
Don't ever fight like you did again. Then Dofla slices the man.
Kinemon told Kan and Momo this place is dangerous and they need to get out of here.
Momo is worried about Kan, who is held captive by that vicious man (Dofla)

Sanji isn't listening to him, he's love-struck thinking about Violet.

Violet told Sanji she's going to be protected by the government, so she'll be fine.
The battle fish are attacking your crewmate, please go help them! Sanji took off.
But Violet is heading towards the palace. On the way she spots a group of people watching the D block fight, and sneering at Rebecca.
She shoots the TV, exploding it.

In front of the Colosseum
Zoro asks Barto why he knows Luffy's identity, and knows Zoro's name.
Barto begs for an autograph, and says he'll go find Luffy if you promise to give me your autograph.

Many gladiators are already down for the count at D Block.
A gladiator attacks Rebecca, but she dodges the attack and let the gladiator fall into the water.
Rebecca is fighting at the edge of the stage, and tossing opponents into the water.

This is how Rebecca has won every battle and became to be known as the undefeated woman, she never slashes at the opponent, she always use ring outs to win.
Luffy notices she's using the Observation Haki. Cavendish sees how well she's fighting and smiles.
Rolling Logan, a hulking figure with lipstick, challenges Rebecca.

Meanwhile in the underground waiting room for the treatment center
Xai is screaming at the doctors, demanding to know what happened to his grandfather.
It's been so long since he was carried in. They assured him that he's simply being treated.
Ideo and Kerry are in the room too.

Xai's turn comes and he lays on the surgical bed. But it's a trap door, and he falls into a dark abyss.
He reaches the end of the hold, and it's a massive room with pile of Toy corpses.
Many of the gladiators from previous blocks are there, including his grandfather.
Elizabello is there too, but the wall is incredibly strong, and even his King Punch can't destroy it.
The gladiators figure Doflamingo has tricked them..

One Piece 724: Law's Strategy

Shounen Jump Issue Cover: 

     The characters in the cover are mostly the Mugiwaras. Brook and Franky are somewhat kinda small there compare to their size. And there's a heart between Zoro and Sanji. Ussop looked like he was talking to someone over a den den mushi (I'm not so sure though). Nami seems to be falling from wonderland or perhaps Skypiea with the signature pose of Marilyn Monroe. While Robin is kinda like pole dancing somewhere. Chopper seems to be having nightmares back in Thriller Bark. And Luffy, I don't even get what he's doing. It kinda looked like he was fixing his tie for a party which I wasn't invited. 

Color coverpage:

     Oda's kinda not through with the Fishman Island. The colorpage reminds me of Shirahoshi and Hody. And aside from the Mugiwaras all over the page, Keimi and Pappug are present. I can see ex-shichibukai Jinbei having tea party. The pervert duo Sanji and Brook are having their great time. LuZo shippers would surely be happy too coz' it seems to me that Luffy is having a great time above Zoro. 

Chapter Review: 

     For Sanji fans, the long-awaited shining moment for their idol: Sanji is coming to town. Using diable jambe against (DD) Donquixote Doflamingo's Ito-ito fruit (String-String fruit), he was trying to protect Nami, Brook and Chopper who were now crying. But of course, we know that he can't match DD's strength yet. He was sent down to the Sunny. Knowing Sanji, he didn't give up just yet, he went back fighting DD in which DD commented "not that bad". But clever DD as he is, used his DF power to stuck Sanji in mid-air. Seen from below, Jola who was captured commented "no one can get away with young master's spider web". The crew were shouting to Sanji to run. And Sanji responded to use the coup de burst. 

     Just before DD is going to whip Sanji, Law used shambles and room to transport himself and (CC) Cesar Clown in exchange of DD's place. And because of that, the whip was attacked back to one of dressrosa's tower. Meanwhile, Sanji and Law with CC were back to Sunny. Jola had a reunion with her crewmate CC and they shared their misfortune of being captured. 

     DD made a mistake for letting his guard down. So he hurriedly flew back in which Chopper was shouting for warning. Law asked Sanji about their factory destruction and Momonosuke asking the whereabouts of his father and friends. Law thought that their plan needs more time. 

     CC mentioned about his heart too. Law was silly enough to keep CC's heart in his chest while his heart was kept in the Sunny all along. He gave CC's heart back and told the rest of the Mugiwaras to head to Zou where the Heart Pirates are. 

     Law reminded Nami about the vivre card and Brook asked about what will happen to Luffy and others. Law assured them that the rest will follow to Zou after the destruction of factory to which Nami interjected that they won't sail not until their captain is there. 

    While the arguments are heating up, a battleship of the marines flew out of nowhere and DD is approaching, both to the Sunny. Law seemed to understand the point of Nami so he said "you can stay as long as you won't handover CC no matter what happens" while unsheathing his sword. 

    In the battleship, a certain high-ranking marine shouts "fire" and cannons were shot to the Sunny and while looking up, Chopper observed something from the skies. Meteors were falling down and Law used room to protect the Sunny. 

     Fear and impending doom in their eyes, Nami and Chopper declared "the CURLYHAT/SPIRALHAT pirates are setting sail" (note the pun there: Sanji (curly/spiral) as their temporary captain but still they are Mugiwaras due to the use of "HAT"). 

     Sanji being clever seemed to smell something bad about their alliance and reminded Law that their main goal is to take down Kaidou. He observed that it seemed like Law is concentrating much on Dressrosa specifically DD. 

     A meteor is almost coming to the Sunny and Law used tact and the meteor made a hit to the battleship. The marines were in chaos and asked Isshou (fujitora-admiral) what they'll do next. The admiral admitted his miscalculation and while eating ramen told his underlings to head back to Dressrosa. DD is fast-approaching using the whip to hit the Sunny. 

     Law was fast enough to hold the attack and told Sanji to go to a place where there are no clouds. DD's Ito Ito No Mi casts strings to the clouds for him to travel the skies. 

     Chopper used the coup de burst while Law is using Jola as bait against DD. Amazingly, DD loves his crew that he can't put up a fight that would harm any of them. 

     The Sunny went away and left DD and Law in the bridge that connects Green Bit from Dressrosa. DD asked Law "what's the use of letting the other Mugiwaras to escape when there are still other left in Dressrosa?". He further stated that "I can use them as hostages in exchange of CC". 

     Law replied "Are you one of those countless many that underestimated them?". "My alliance with the Mugiwaras ends here". "I only wanted to use them to stop the smile production". "I would love to see the chaos that would happen after Kaidou would kill you to death," "but, putting an end to what happened 13 years ago comes first." Law's real plans are soon to be revealed.
